The Self Descriptive Number Puzzle

I have a very nice puzzle for you, which hopefully you will enjoy. I have a ten digit number. This number has to obey a set of rules. The rules are that this number is such that the first digit tells me how many of the digits in the number are a zero. The second digit tells me how many digits in the number are a one. The third digit tells me how many twos there are in the number. This continues right up until the tenth digit tells me how many nines there are in the number. The question is, what is my number? This puzzle can be attempted in many ways, some easy, some more challenging, so everyone can have a go at this one. If you want a challenge, after completing the puzzle, prove that the ten digit number you have found is the only ten digit number that follows my rules. The solution will be in my next post.
